Too Faced Bon Bon Palette Tutorial

First apply an eyeshadow base and a flesh toned eyeshadow.

Apply the shade pecan praline to the crease.  Then go in with a fluffy brush and apply Totally Fetch.

Apply a dark brown shade to the crease with a pencil brush. Optional: Take a darker pink shade to run with a pencil brush just in the crease.

Take a concealer and carve out the eyelid. Then take the shade sprinkles on top of the concealer.
Take a pink glitter ( UD Moondust Specter) and apply it on top of the pink.. Then take a dark pink/purple and apply it directly in the crease to redefine.  ( I use tape for a sharp line.
Apply liner and remove the tape. apply Primer and clean up the eye with concealer.
Do your brows and clean up. Apply foundation and blend out.
Clean up under the brows with a skin toned powder.
Contour and conceal.....

Bake and powder contour.
Take the pink on a tiny pencil brush and run under the lower lash line. Apply blush on the cheeks after removing the baking powder.
Apply glitter to the inner corner of the eye and mascara.
Apply a white eyeliner to the waterline of the eye.
Apply Highlighter....( Wet n' Wild I don't know the exact shade but it's something canopy). and a lip color ( I used Melted Peony).

Glam, Good, Gross? ABH Ultimate Glow Kit

The Price: $45.00

Amount:   Each Pan is 0.16 oz each

Pros:    They are creamy and soft. Very blinding.

Cons:    The shades have a layer of glitter over them. If you are fair they can come off  a bit dark

Verdict: Good. These highlighters are gorgeous, but for the first few uses its glitter central! once you get past the initial layer they are so intense and beautiful. Beware if you have a fair skin tone, because they may be a little too dark to use as a highlighter.

Tips:  You can use a setting spray to dampen your brush to get a more intense look. Also, you can use the darker shades as an eyeshadow to get use from shades that are too dark for your skin!

Swatch/Shade:  Swatches have no primer.

Formal Look. •

Formal Tutorial
First prime your eyes and face!
We used Smashbox photo-finish face primer and wet n wild eye primer.

Second, take a flesh colored shadow and place it over the primer. This helps the shadows blend more smoothly and avoid clingy patches.  (Shade from Too Faced Bon Bon palette)

Third, take a dark blue shade ( UD spectrum palette) and apply it to the outer corner. Don't worry you can be a little messy with this.

Take a concealer and clean up the inner proton of the lid and right above the brow.

Blend it in with a flat brush.

Take a white cream shadow ( Maybelline Tattoo)  and apply it to the inner portion of the eye.

Blend the white out.

Take a loose cosmetic grade glitter with a bit of glitter glue and apply it directly on top of the white cream shadow.

The glitter I used was from Amazon and the glitter glue was from elf.

We are then going to dip back into that blue shade from before and darken up the crease and smooth the transition from white to blue.

Taking a clean fluffy brush and dip back into the skin toned shade and blend the top edges to soften the transition from the blue shade to the brow.

Clean up the sides with concealer. ( I used UD Naked... Stay tuned for a dupe it or ditch it )

Apply concealer in the areas of the face you want to stand out.

Blend out with a damp makeup sponge.

The real techniques is a great sponge for a budget friendly price!

Appy eyeliner.

Apply cream contour and blend it out.   ( NYX contour stick).

Apply powder under the eyes to bake ( Airspun .... I don't recommend this product if you have dry skin).

Apply powder contour over the cream.

And brush off the bake powder.

Apply a blush of your choice..... We used the Tarte blush in sensual.

Apply highlight shade of your choice..... We used ABH ultimate glow kit.

Then we applied individual lashes.

As lip shades we used the Wet N' Wild Cutie Patootie and Nudist Peach.

Urban Decay Heat ☼ Glam, Good, Gross?

Urban Decay Heat ☼

The Price: $54.00

Amount:   12 x 1.3 g POIDS NET/NET WT. 12 x 0.05 oz

Pros:    The shadows are the creamiest formula yet! The mattes are so pigmented and blendable. The metallic/ shimmers are metallic without needing to wet the brush. I don't even need a primer with this palette. They don't crease or transfer.

Cons:    There is a bit of fallout with the shadows.

Verdict: This is by far the best palette Urban Decay has put out in a long time. The colors blend effortlessly, they are pigmented, soft, and just all around gorgeous! The only con is there is a tiny bit of fallout with shimmery shades, but that is to be expected. I sure do hope they stick with this formula with future palettes to come!

Tips:  Apply shadows before foundation.... or apply extra baking powder under the eyes to catch fallout. To intensify the metallics you can spritz the brush with a setting spray (this minimizes fallout as well).

Swatch/Shade:  Swatches have no primer first swatch is a finger and second is a brush.
