Swatching Sunday ! Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color

SS:Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color

Product description: This product is a full color gloss. It doesn't dry down to a matte finish as some other lip sticks do. They are very pigment and feel comfortable. The shade Fiery Coral is a tad streaky, but you can build it.

Dupe it or Ditch it ? L'oreal vs Stila

Voluminous Superstar Liner VS Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner

Price:     L'oreal $9.99            Stila: $22.00

First Glance: Both products come with a felt tip pin. The packaging is similar on both.

Size: L'oreal 0.056 oz     Stila: 0.016 oz

Texture: Both have the same consistency . They just glide on the eye!

Coverage: The L'Oreal is blacker and isn't water proof, but the Stila smudges if you rub it.

Wear Time: They both last until you are going to take them off..

Color Swatch:  L'oreal ............................. Stila

Verdict: DUPE! These are absolute dupes, the L'oreal only comes in black, but the Stila one has several other colors.

Glam, Good, or Gross? Maybelline Sensational Bolds

Maybelline Sensational Bolds

\

The Price: $7.49

Amount:   0.15 OZ.

Pros:   The lipsticks are creamy and smooth, They apply evenly to the lips and very pigmented.

Cons:   They have a slight smell, it goes away after applied. The lipsticks transfer very easily.

Verdict: Good! The color section is nice, they are creamy, and they look great on the lips. They don't dry out your lips or look streaky or patchy either. I really prefer a matte finish, but these have more of semi-gloss finish. If you plan on eating or drinking, you should bring this for re-application because the color will fade off.

Tips:  Apply this with a liner to keep it from bleeding, and if you want  more of a matte finish take a piece of tissue and lightly blot.  I like to use the shade Wickedly White in the center of other lipsticks to give an ombre effect.

Swatch/Shade: Wickedly White and Sapphire Siren

High School Makeup Tutorial (Drugstore)

  High School Makeup Tutorial (Drugstore)

Products used: Garnier BB Cream, NYX HD Concealer,  Wet n' Wild contour in Dulce De Leche, Jordana Blush in Apple Cheeks, Essence Nude Highligher, Wet n' Wild Brown Eyeliner ( matching her brow shade), L'oreal Superstar Black Eyeliner, Wet n' Wild Eye Shadow Palette in Comfort Zone, Maybelline the Rocket Mascara, Airspun transparent powder, and  NYX Lingerie Liquid Lip in Embellisment.

To start the look off apply your base of choice, We used a illuminating base, Revlon skin lights in the shade "Bare Light" I applied this all over her skin and blended it in for healthy glow.

Then choose the foundation and concealer you wish to apply. My volunteer has good skin, so we opted for the BB cream, because it's light weight, but still provides a good amount of coverage. The concealer we used is the NYX HD concealer and we placed it under the eyes , and the high points of the face. ( Don't forget to blend it in.)

Then we contoured the face with the Wet n' Wild Contour kit. ( place the product in the hollows of the cheeks, under the chin, around the temple, and the forehead). We then took the Airspun powder and set the areas where we had applied the concealer early.  We applied an additional amount of powder under the eyes to bake.

Then we took the second to lightest shade in the Comfort Zone palette and placed it all over the lid.

Then take the brown duo-chrome shade and place it on the outer V of the eye. (Do not drag this into the crease.)

Blend this in a circular motion inwards. Softening out the edges.
Take the brown definer shade and place it on the outer lid.

Blend that into the V to darken it.

Then take the lightest shade and place it in the inner corner.

After that I dusted the powder of her face (she finished baking), and applied a blush to the apples of the cheeks very lightly.

Next take a highligher and dust it over the high points of the face (such as the nose, forehead, and chin).

Then I filled in her brows lightly with a shade that matches.

Then apply a winged eyeliner.

Apply mascara and lipstick if you choose... We used NYX Lingere in Embellishment.

Spray with a setting spray and you're good to go!

Easy Back to Middle School Makeup. (DRUGSTORE).

Easy Back to Middle School Makeup.

First : Moisturize your skin, you can add a BB cream or a light foundation, also optional is to highlight the points of the face with a concealer as pictured.

Blend that out and take a bronzer and bronze the forehead, temples, and jawline.
(Wet n' Wild Bronzer Ticket To Brazil)

Take a highlighter and gently brush it on the tops of the cheeks, down the nose, and the center of the forehead. Optional on the cupids bow.  Shade used Essence pure nude highlighter. It gives a very natural glow.
Apply a light blush to the apples of
the cheeks. ( pictured is Jordana's
Blush in Apple Cheeks). Tip: for a natural blush tap off the excess
powder then apply and set with a setting spray. ( I used Wet n' Wilds).

Next apply a light shimmer shade to

the lid. ( Used is the Comfort Zone

Palette from Wet n' Wild).

Take the darkest brown and place it on the outer corners and blend.

Then take the brown above that and put it on the mid lid, blending the light and the dark together
.

Line the upper lid with a light brown eyeliner ( gives lashes a fuller look) and smudge it out.

Then take the highlighter you used on your face and place it in the inner corner of you eye and apply mascara (my model doesn't like mascara).

The last step is to add a flesh toned lip color, we used Wet n' Wild Mega Last Liquid Lipsticks in the shade Pocketful of Roses.
