Dupe it or Ditch it? Too Faced vs Covergirl

Too Faced Melted Lip: Melted Peony

Covergirl Colorlicious Lipstick: Honeyed

Packaging:  At first glance the colors of these to products look very similar. They are both a muted dusty pink. The big difference is that the Melted lipstick is of course a liquid lip (not matte) and the cover girl is a traditional lipstick.

Feel:  The feel of both is very creamy and moisturizing on the lips. They both have a shine when applied to the lips.

Smell: The Covergirl has a smell of plastic and candy. Too Faced smells like chemicals. The smell goes away after application is very faint with the melted lipstick.

Wear time: They both wear around three hours without needing a touch up, unless eating.

Dupe it or Ditch it?  DUPE. These products may be in different formulas, but the color is a dead on match.  If you prefer a gloss application go for the Too Faced, but if you like the traditional lipstick more go for Covergirl! Either way you are getting a great product.

Tip: This shade looks very well with a brown or golden eye look.
