Glam, Good, or Gross? UD XX Vice Ltd Reloaded

Price: $56.00 U.S. Dollars

The Good:  The shadows in this pallet are very pigmented as you will see in the swatches. That is one swipe of color only. The texture of a majority of the shadows are smooth, with only one being slightly chunky (oil slick) due to the glitter in it. The palette has a wide variety of shades that allow you to do neutral and glamorous looks. It has a nice transition shade (laced), highlight shade (anonymous), and several pops of color ( goldmine, asphyxia, and UV-B would be my favorites).  The shadows have good staying power, but I would definitely recommend using a primer if you have trouble with creasing or have oily eyelids.

The Bad:  The shadows do have fallout , as mentioned before tapping your brush eliminates this issue. The shade Acid Rain has slightly less pigmentation than the others, and 501 has a beautiful glitter in the pan, but when applied to the eyes the shade is matte. Even when patting the shadow on with your finger the glitter is still not visible ( this shade is also a tad rougher than the others). Both shades though are gorgeous! The brush is not the quality it should be, the brushes in the Naked palettes are so much better. The letters on  the packaging have rubbed off.

The Verdict:  GLAM! Many of you may not know, but I adore Urban Decay shadows. They are so buttery, pigmented, and have awesome staying power. On top of that they are extremely easy to blend. This palette is my favorite of the Vice Palettes, because the quality of these are closer to the Naked palettes (many UD users know that the Naked formulas feel the best). I would even go to say that there isn't a "dud" in the palette. However, this is limited edition so if you are thinking of buying it, I would highly recommend you do so before its gone!

Tips:  I like paring the colors Asphyxia, Roadstripe, and Freakshow for a purple smokey eye! If you are looking for something a little toned down try using Midnight Cowboy on the lid, Twice Baked in the Crease, Suspend in the V, Goldmine under the lower lash line, and blend out the crease with Anonymous. Tap your brush with the darker colors to avoid fallout and if you use Goldmine with a wet brush it will give you a metallic finish.
